Frst Run of Marathon Training

I'm unofficially running Grandma's Marathon this June, so I decided it was a good day to start training. I just started with the standard "down to the bridge and back" 3 mile run. It went about as well as I expected it to - the hill up to the stop sign about killed me, and then about the last half mile again was pretty rough. Even though it was hard, I made it without feeling too bad in 29 minutes. This is pretty pathetic for my in shape standards, but seeing as I'm not in shape - I'm not too worried. I also though it might be fun to keep track of all my running stats in a spreadsheet, so here's a link. But with that out of the way, all I have to do is keep the momentum going until I've got a job - which also equals a gym membership. Hopefully we have more warm days ahead.
